Halloween recap!

Yesterday was a pretty good day! I forgot to hit publish on my post from yesterday... just incase your wondering why it's up today!

Jaelon had a playdate and we walked up to the Y for some swimming fun, played in the big playroom and had lunch, then walked back home.  It was a great way to spend 4 hours and we were outside for some of it!  I had to do some serious grocery shopping so since my mom came in, I left Jaelon with her while he was napping.  Came home to one screaming little boy, clearly not at all happy that I was gone. 

Jaelon was NOT at all into the whole trick-or-treating thing, he was happy to get in to his costume and happy to be going outside. He thought we were going in the car but did surprisingly well when we went up to the first house in our row.  I worked with him on holding his bag and tried to get him to say something, anything close to trick-or-treat.... He wouldn't hold the bag last night and he was good with saying please and thank-you!!  30 minutes later we were home and he was enjoying some Halloween candy and "helping" to hand out candy.  I'd still say all in all it was a pretty good time!! Next year I think we'll do "MALL-o-ween!"
